Maybe it's just me

...but it feels like it has been January all year long.

(I use that joke every year, for five years running now, and it never gets old.)

Devil's haircut, in my car

[/Bastardized Beck lyrics]

Yesterday, the total mileage on the car was something like 140,210. But the mileage for the month (and thus, the year) was 666. (I reset the mileage odometer on the bottom on the first of each month.)

In other news, it's the Year of the Dog today. Um. So, happy new year.

The Television Event of the Century!

Tonight!

Smallville!!

100th episode!!!

Someone close to Clark will die!!!!

My bet is on The WB. Heh.

Anyway. Yeah. It will undoubtedly turn out to be massively disappointing (especially considering the amount of hype that has been going into this "event") but I'll be watching nonetheless. Because, you know, someone will die!!

Only 11 months until Xmas!

So ya better start shopping!

Hmm. There are many things I could blog about, but I've gotten so used to not blogging, that I can't even finish this sentence.

Best blog entry of the year.

Wow. It's Doom Thousand Six. Man. That's ... amazing, actually.

We stayed up to midnight last night, watched the fireworks, had our sparkling apple cider, had our Saren-baked cookies, and now, we're getting ready to go to bed on the first night of the new year.

Hope everyone's New Year's festivities were safe and enjoyable. I'm now very exhausted, since we just got done watching The Polar Express.

Quick review: Not as Creepy as I had feared it would be, but still had a good percentage of Creepy Factor to it, very padded, still gave me goosebumps in parts.

Overall, a good movie to start D006 of with. [up]

Thanks, everyone for the kind words on the Project '05 end result. I'm a little bummed I didn't hit the goal, but I'm pretty happy with how far I got. It was a fun ride, and I'm certainly glad I'm not doing it again. From here on out, it's just blogging when I have something to say.

And on that note... I have nothing left to say for now!
