Haiku Review: Let the Right One In

Poor young Oskar is
often picked on by bullies.
He dreams of revenge.

Eli moves in next
door. She befriends Oskar and
tells him to fight back.

When Oskar learns that
Eli is a vampire, he's
like, "Cool. ...Don't eat me."

Oskar stands up for
himself. Eli kills random
townsfolk. The two bond.

The whole film is quite
haunting. The pool scene will stick
with me for a while.

Maybe the best thing
about Let the Right One In --
vampires don't sparkle.
