All day long I've had this "I've been punched really hard in the chest" feeling. That's always fun.

Earlier today Saren and Harper went outside and got all muddy. (It rained yesterday all night long, leaving us with a muddy porch/backyard) They were our Dirty Girls.

(Oooh. Check out this segway) Saren and I played Buffy today, and she won, twice. We played the version where I was the Mayor (which Saren kept calling "The Master"). She used the Living Flame to destroy the box of Garvok before I could ascend. But we kept playing after that until she could kill the Mayor as well. (Side note: Using the Mayor, you could totally cheat and just use the Mayor to kill all the Scoobies, without ascending. Since he's immortal until he becomes a demon, that's kinda a loophole.)
Anywhat, while we were playing, at one point Oz became a werewolf, and Saren moved him over to where Buffy was and had him attack Buffy. She said that she did that because one time on the show, when Oz was a werewolf, he tried to attack Buffy. (true enough)
Later, I vamped Buffy, and Saren broke into tears.
I compromised with her by giving her the "Soul Restoration" card and allowed her to use it to make Buffy human again. (Hey, it worked on Darla. Or maybe it was Buffy who shanshus. [wink])

Anyway, the game was more exciting than the episode tonight.

And here it is, your moment of zen.
