Baffling things

[-] NBC recently canceled My Own Worst Enemy and Lipstick Jungle. ...and yet Knight Rider remains intact.

[-] Sushi.

[-] As walking to the bus this morning, I passed a man wearing a suit who was urinating behind a clothing donation shed.

[-] Twilight. Please just make it go away.

[-] Why I'm still awake at ten after ten.

Yeah, Pat, sushi is excellent.

No sushi is gross, I've never had it but the idea is gross. We invented fire for a reason, to cook our fish!

But what I wanted to comment about is Twilight. I've been against this movie since I saw the first trailer. Now that it seems like the hype won't go away until the movie flops, my girlfriend is now interested in seeing it. I'll probably end up seeing it at the theater because Amanda loves going to see movies. Hopefully the trailers don't do it justice and it's an ok movie. Here's to hope, thanks Obama.

Sushi may be excellent (although it really isn't) but I just find it baffling. I mean, every other meat we eat after cooking. It's the only animal that is eaten raw, and it just seems... wrong.
Raw fruit, raw vegetables, raw nuts - that I'm all cool with. But raw fish? I'm not a bear, dude.

10pm? Pah! I'm still awake and it's 2:36am! (Of course, I am also still on sick leave, so it's not like I have to get up for anything. But still.)

I haven't ever tried sushi. I feel so uncultured. As for Twilight... PLEASE MAKE IT GO AWAY.

Was it you who liked Sharp Teeth by Toby Barlow? Someone at work recommended it and I have it on my shelf, but I'm unsure whether I want to read it or not.

Ryan, I'm going to see Twilight, and I hope it's not good. Seriously, if it's not the worst movie I've ever seen, I'm going to be very disappointed. And I've seen Troll 2, so my standards are pretty low.

Oh, I know. Ten is unbelievably early. My younger self is so ashamed at how pathetic of an old man I've become in the past two or three years. Side effect of waking up at 4:30 each morning.

And, yes. Sharp Teeth by Toby Barlow is an amazing piece. I recommend it fully. It certainly won't be everyone's cuppa, but it's most definitely unique, and hey, if it's already on your shelf, go for it. :)
