We're getting ready to leave, so I've given myself 60 seconds to get as much blogging done as possible.

The Shield is a great show, but it also puts me on edge everytime I watch it. Why is that? And why do I love it so? And what other sshows are out there like it? (i'm up to season 3 so far, btw)

I love all the original FX shows. (Except Thief, that one didn't grab me so much.) They've done some really great things with the antihero concept.
I listened to an interview with Dennis Leary yesterday, of Rescue Me, who said that his character is based on two RL NYC firefighters, who constantly provide fodder for storylines. That made me even more interested in the series.
I watched the first two seasons of THE SHIELD, but never came back to it. I always hated Shane so much. Just his stupid face made me so ANGRY.
