That doesn't sound right.

There is this commercial for Special K (some sort of diet type of cereal, for those who don't know) that obviously did not have a proof-readerlistener before it was finished.
The sentence that was wrong was:

"Research shows that women who eat breakfast, like Special K, weigh less."

But the way it was said made it sound like:

"Research shows that women who eat breakfast, like Special K way less."

hee! I noticed this same thing too & was thinking of blogging about it, but I was far too lazy, so I'm glad you did.

My conspiracy theory is that the research showed that woman hated the Special K breakfast, but said this way, at least some people will hear it as 'weigh less' ;-).
