At what point do you take a "sick" day (or as my dad calls them "mental health days")?

Usually if I'm "coughing up a lung", to steal a phrase from a popular movie from the 80s.
Or, if the Steph is super convincing in making me stay home. (She doesn't need to do a lot of arm twisting lately)

 I think he meant "town or country". It's a city.

What's the closest...
street or road?

Jones Blvd is mere feet outside.
 

gas station?

There's an ARCO right up the road, about half a mile, maybe?
 

bank?

Um. The Washington Mutual is about four miles down Jones. There are, no doubt, other banks, but I don't pay attention to those.
 

shopping center?

It's before the ARCO.
 

supermarket?

It's in the same shopping center that I just referenced, actually.
 

convenience store?

Gas stations and convenience stores are the same thing, arent' they?
 

restaurant?

There's a Wendy's next to the ARCO. Does that count?
 

cinema?

Down Flamingo about two miles inside the Palms Casino.
 

theatre?

Erm. Same thing as a cinema, I was thinking.
 

stadium, arena?

I have no idea.
(Not true. I do have an idea, but I need to pee, and thinking isn't  on  my top priority list right now)
 

bar, pub?

[shrug] I don't know.
 

pharmacy?

Heh. It's inside Smith's, which is in the shopping center which is near the ARCO, which is up the road.
 

hospital?

Um. 5 miles away?
 

cemetery?

That's on Eastern. But I don't know how far  away that is.
 

house of worship?

No idea.
 

institution of learning?

Heeeeee.
 

museum?

Um. Man. These questions are hard.
 

subway or train station?

Mmm. Subway. It's within walking distance. It's across the street from the aforementioned ARCO.
 

airport?

McCarren is ...I don't know. Nearish. I'm wishing I had Yahoo Maps available, though.
 

river?

I suppose that would be the Colorado, which is some 20 or 30 miles from us, I guess.
 

lake?

Lake Mead. Same thing.
 

hill, mountain?

Errr.

park?
I don't know!!! Stop asking me questions! ...Oh. This is the last one. Whew!
