So, yeah, Empire Magazine (again, who??) has apparently issued their "Top 50 Television Shows of All Time [even though none on the list are from the Future, and nothing prior to the 1960s was any good]", and so everyone and their mom has decided to list it on their blog, with the stipulations that you highlight the shows you've seen all the episodes of and italicize the ones you've seen at least one episode of.

Yay, because otherwise there would be no Who Live At Leeds.
Also, I'm totally going to go edit those new conditions to the one I did. I saw them when Christine did it, but ... I was lazy. Hence, meme in the first place!
Mostly Nay, with the occasional rare exception. (10,000 Maniacs MTV Unplugged is a good one.)
Live albums A) do not capture the experience of being there; they just don't; B) have way too much self-indulgence, particularly if Eric Clapton or Jimmy Page is a member of said band.
They are mostly to be shunned.
Oh, also--Cracker is an excellent Brit show about a psychologist who helps a police dept. solve crimes. Stars Robbie Coltrane who is beyond sublime in it. People should seek out this show. The end.

Mostly "Nay", although U2's "Under A Blood Red Sky" was one of our year's favourite albums at school - it was on the record player all the time.
Re the list: Dude, you pull me up on Deadwood, but you haven't watched a single ep of Veronica Mars or Firefly? Egads, man!
