Ok, like one time, I was out in the parking lot
Tryin' to remove my excess earwax with a golf pencil
When I see this guy Marty
Tryin' to carry a big ol' sofa up the stairs all by himself
So I, I say to him, I say "Hey, you want me to help you with that?"
And Marty, he just rolls his eyes and goes
"No, I want you to cut off my arms and legs with a chainsaw"

So I did

And then he gets all indignant on me
He's like "Hey man, I was just being sarcastic"
Well, that's just great
How was I supposed to know that?
I'm not a mind reader for cryin' out loud
Besides, now he's got a really cute nickname, Torso-Boy
So what's he complaining about?

Say, that reminds me of another amusing anecdote
This guy comes up to me on the street
And he tells he hasn't had a bite in three days
Well, I knew what he meant
But just to be funny, I took a big bite out of his jugular vein
And he's yellin' and screamin' and bleeding all over
And I'm like "Hey, come on, don't you get it?"
But he just keeps rolling around on the sidewalk, bleeding, and screaming
You know, completely missing the irony of the whole situation
Man, some people just can't take a joke, you know?

Anyway, um, um, where was I?
Kinda lost my train of thought

Anyway I, I know it's kinda been a roundabout way of saying it
But I guess the whole point I'm tryin' to make here is

Time to condense the last month into half a minute...

1 - Tree in our front yard.

2 - We sent the Switch out to get repaired, and it came back all fixed. 

3 - Ori, on the couch with me, while the loud carpet cleaner is going on in the background.

4 - Abed, laying next to my flipflops. (He's a weird cat.)

5 - Cinco de Mayo.

6 - Ori, napping. With her teeth out.

7 - Silas and I started playing Rayman Legends. (We haven't gotten very far, because of  Hyrule goings-on, but we did start it that day.)

8 - Playing Blockus

9 - Shutting down my computer at the end of the work day.

10 - Car wash!

11 - Sometimes when I take Ori out for her walk in the morning, she'll walk in the wet grass, and leave little wet dogprints on the sidewalk. :)

12 - The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom came out this day.  Here you can see the new Ascend feature being shown off.

16 - The weather was nice and cloudy on my morning walk.

19 - One of the stairways at work.

20 - A bird on my walk. (I believe it's a mockingbird, but I'm not 100% sure)

21 - The latest CrunchLabs thing came in.

22 - Abed in the kitchen. Meowing cuz he was hungry.

23 - We went out to Spring Mountain Ranch, and, among other things while out there, played with a frisbee.

24 - The 24th was my 28th (!!) workiversary. This one second was just boring work-stuff.

25 - The 24th was also our 8 year anniversary of having Ori in our lives, so I recorded her for a second on the following day.

26 - Work-in-office day, the sprinklers were going off when I got in to work, so I filmed 'em.

27 - Me singing along with the radio. ("You're So Vain", in case you're wondering)

28 - Turtle peep, munching on lettuce and cukes.

29 - CAW!!

30 - Abed jumping over the gate we put up a while back so that Ori would stop eating his food.

5. Went in to the office that day, and had to print something.

6. Ghost Girl. Or School Ghosts. Or TeenGhost. Or whatever that show was called. (School Spirits)

7. Chloe Koast, one of our meteorologists, jumping into a pool during the morning newscast, to celebrate the opening up of local pools.

8. Muse!! (Got surprise free tickets to go see Muse (with Evanescence and Highly Suspect) on Friday night, and got to see them on Saturday. Was an amazing show, just like the first time I saw Muse, ten years ago. Will happily see them in another 10.)

9. Working on a puzzle.

10. On our way to see the Super Mario Bros. Movie.

11. Watering one of our bushes.

12. The Sinclair Day of Service. A bunch of us at the station bagged up food for less fortunate children. All of those crates are filled with bags of food. It took about 6 hours to get all 4800 bags done, but it was well worth it.

13. The turtle peep finally emerged from her burrow. (She actually emerged on the 12th, but I didn't get a chance to film her eating until the 13th)

14. This was a Friday, which meant being in the office. I realized around 2:17 that I hadn't filmed my video of the day yet, and chose the clock. Heh.

17. It's extremely hard to see because of how well the camaflaouge works, but that there is a horned lizard. (We had gone to Boulder City's Nature Discovery Park, and that little guy was, ironically enouhg, right below the Horned Lizard statue.)
