Reboots are all the rage, right?
And bashing on 2020 is still a thing, right?
I figure... why not combine the two. Here are my pitches for some shows to reboot, but with a 2020-style twist to them.
The Toilet Paper Chase - follows the lives of law students. But, you know, in 2020.
Work From Home Improvement - Tim "The Tool" Taylor has to do his home improvement show from home, rather than in the studio. Urhh-UH???
The Kanye West Wing - After Trump's "legal experts" cause a recount of the 2020 election to take place, it turns out that Kanye West was actually elected president. Hilarity ensues.
This Is Among Us - a family drama set onboard a space ship. Each week a different family member is murdered by someone that LOOKS like the family, but is an impostor. They have family meetings to determine who should be thrown out of the airlock. It's... a little dark.
Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV of Interest - An AI (artificial intelligence) and Donald Trump (artificial intelligence) team up to solve and/or commit crimes.
Murder Hornets, She Wrote - Angela Lansbury stars as a mystery writer/detective/exterminator who travels to small towns solving murders and removing pests.
