Discouraging. Word. s.

I woke up this morning feeling very discouraged about my story, which is dumb, because it has been going pretty well. It's mostly due to the fact that I've got this ...sort of cognitive dissonance (or whatever). See, my characters have just done something that they totally would have done a LOT sooner in real life, and now I have to figure out why it took them so long to come up with that idea.

On the bright side, I think that I may have found a work around, but then, I haven't done any writing today at all, so I guess it's a moot point for now.

In conclusion, it's word count time...
